Georgian Sterling Berry Ladle – Peter & Anne Bateman – dated 1793

A beautiful silver berry ladle with a gilt wash silver bowl over repoussé silver fruit and a hand engraved handle.  The bowl is pierced to allow any juice to drain.

Marks for Peter & Anne Bateman – a family of famous English silversmiths from the 18th to the 19th centuries.  Lovely quality.
