Dresden Richard Klemm Hand Painted & Hand Gilded Vase – Portrait of Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire

A stunning hand painted and hand gilded portrait vase with a portrait of Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire (1757-1806).  Marks for the decorating firm of Richard Klemm, Dresden, Germany.  Also has a gold covered Rosenthal mark – which was a porcelain blank and then decorated by the Klemm factory.

Mark dates the vase circa 1890-1906

The hand painted portrait is beautifully painted and the gilding is raised and heavy.

Vase measures:  13.5 inches high x 5.5 inches wide.
Marked:  RK under crown (Richard Klemm), Germany.  Gold covered Rosenthal mark underneath (mark used from 1890-1906).  also written “Devonshire”

Excellent condition with no damage or restoration. No Gold wear.
