Hand-Blown Cranberry and Clear Footed Glass Creamer and Sugar Bowl, Enamel Decoration, c. 1890

A very pretty set of creamer and matching open sugar bowl, circa 1890, in cranberry glass with petal-shaped clear glass feet and creamer applied handle. The pieces are decorated with bands of ‘threaded’ white enamel around both the creamer and sugar bowl. There is a distinct pontil mark on the underside of each piece, indicating that they are hand-blown.

The creamer is 4 1/2 inches tall X 2 1/2 inches in diameter on the base and the sugar bowl is 3 inches tall X 5 inches in diameter at the top.

Both pieces are in excellent condition.
