Hand-Blown Cranberry Glass Decanter with Clear Glass Stopper and Decorative Applied Handle, c. 1890

A lovely hand-blown cranberry glass decanter with a removable clear glass stopper and a decorative, applied clear glass handle, circa 1890. There is a large pontil on the underside of the decanter showing where it was detached from the glass-blowing apparatus.

The decanter with stopper is 11 1/2 inches tall and is 3 5/8 inches wide at the base.

There is a chip on the top of the stopper but the decanter is in very good condition.
