Hand-Hammered Carl Poul Petersen (Canadian Silversmith) Small Pedestal Comport, Pea Pod Decoration

A small hand-hammered sterling silver pedestal comport, made by Carl Poul Petersen, a Canadian silversmith.

The comport has a pea pod decoration on each side of the top.

On the underside, it shows Petersen’s maker’s mark and reads “Hand Made Sterling” and double “P” mark.

The comport stands 2 3/4 inches tall and is 4 3/4 inches wide on the top.

There are some slight surface scratches but, overall, it is in very good condition.
