Hand-Painted Dresden Germany Porcelain 2-Handled Centrepiece , c. 1900, with Applied Flowers & Piercing

A gorgeous hand-painted Dresden Germany porcelain 2-handled centrepiece, c. 1900.  The centrepiece has colourful flower decorations with lavish gold trim around the edge and on the handles and feet of the piece.

On the underside of the centrepiece is the Dresden maker’s mark and it reads “1817. Dresden handpainted”.  There is also an impressed number “9” on the underside.

The centrepiece is 12 1/4 inches wide from handle to handle and stands approximately 5 inches tall.

Note: there are a few applied flowers that show minor chipping on the edges consistent with it’s age but, overall, the centrepiece is in very good condition.
