Hand-Painted Top – 19th Century Hexagon Shaped Side Table

A lovely hand-painted table, that dates from the late 19th Century. It has an unusual table top with a hexagon shape, that is supported by a structure of a centre with three legs. The table is hand-painted with a gilt gold base, with a variety of colours of peach, blue, ivory, brown, red, blue and violet upon the top. The top features a whimsical depiction of a two classical cherub figures in the centre with a circular beaded crest, a large floral and leaf bouquet decorated with garland, scroll and beaded edges.
A delightful hand-painted table with a unique balance of design and style, it would go perfect with any vintage inspired interiors.
Measures: 20 1/4 inches in height x 18 inches wide (18 inches deep)
Marker: Unknown marker, possibly English and European influenced.
Excellent Condition: No chips, or cracks in the wood. Minimal cracks and chips in the paint on the exterior from gentle use, it can be restored (see images for reference).
