Hand-Painted Top – 19th Century Hexagon Shaped Side TableFurniture
Hand-Painted Side Table circa 1890.
A lovely hand-painted table, that dates from the late 19th Century. It has an unusual table top with a hexagon shape, that is supported by a structure of a centre with three legs. The table is hand-painted with a gilt gold base, with a variety of colours of peach, blue, ivory, brown, red, blue and violet upon the top. The top features a whimsical depiction of a two classical cherub figures in the centre with a circular beaded crest, a large floral and leaf bouquet decorated with garland, scroll and beaded edges.
