Lalique Large Champagne Cooler – “Ganymede” in Frosted & Brown circa 1950

A large champagne cooler by LALIQUE titled “Ganymede” – from the Greek mythology.  The cooler has figures protruding from the body and two small blunt handles for carrying.  Large enough to add ice and a bottle of champagne. Good heavy weight so it will not tip.

The body is frosted and has a lightly stain brown colour throughout.

The acid etched mark in BLOCK LETTERS dates the piece circa 1950.

Marked. in Block Letters – acid etched signature Lalique France. on bottom

Measures: 8 1/4 inches tall x 8 inches wide.
