Large Birks Sterling Two handled – Sandwich Tray – dated 1950 – 25 inches Long

A beautiful, large two handled “Sandwich Tray” by Birks in Sterling – with hallmarks dating the tray for 1950.  The handles are decorated in scrolls and shell and the top of the tray is hand chased.

The shape is unusual – long and narrow – used for serving and rarely is this shape seen in sterling silver.
