Large French Brass – Chime Repeater Carriage Clock made for Johnston Bros, Montreal.

A large brass carriage clock with chime and repeater.  The top button allows the user to press down and hear the chime of the current hour.  Clock chimes on each hour regardless of pressing the button.  The large size clock is marked France, but bears the name Johnson Bros, Montreal on the front of the enamel clock face – most likely made for this retailer.  Dates circa 1900.

Measures: 5 inches tall x 3 1/4 inches wide.

Excellent condition.  All components in working condition.
