Majolica Pottery Jug – Dogwood Pattern, circa 1870

Here is a lovely glazed majolica pottery jug, circa 1870, with a dark brown background and wonderfully decorated on both sides with dogwood blossoms and leafy branches. The jug is 7 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter on the base. There is some slight chipping in a few places on the rim but overall it is in good condition with vibrant coloring.
