A massive Early 19th Century French gilt wood & marble top console with gesso carved decorations. Having four solid cabriole legs with face mask decorations on each corner and family crest shields with Fleur-de-lis carvings on the front centre. The marble has a white polished top and is hand chiseled underneath. The furniture maker ‘S A’ impressed on the back.
