Meissen Germany Porcelain Deep Dish, c. 1890, Decorated with an Orange and Yellow Primrose and other Flowers

A lovely Meissen Germany porcelain dish, c. 1890, hand-decorated with colourful flowers and showing an orange and yellow primrose with buds and leaves in the centre. The dish has a gold painted rim.

On the underside of the dish is the Meissen maker’s mark and the impressed number “18”.

The dish is 9 1/2 inches in diameter. There is some paint loss on the gold rim but, overall, it is in very good condition.
