Meissen Germany Porcelain Set of 5 Deep Plates, c. 1860, Decorated with Colourful Flowers and Insects

Here is a wonderful set of 5 Meissen Germany porcelain deep plates, c. 1860, colourfully decorated with bouquets of flowers and various insects. Each plate has a variation in the floral bouquets but all have the same  bright colour scheme.

The plates have a white background and are each trimmed in gold on the scalloped rims.

On the underside of each plate is the Meissen maker’s mark.

Each plate is 9 1/4 inches in diameter.

Note that there is some age / usage paint loss on the gold rims but the plates are in very good condition.
