A lovely figurine of a maiden with a small cherub with a bow and arrow, it dates early 19th century by Meissen, Germany. The maiden has long dark hair with one hand reaching for the sky, she is tangled by the waist in a lose floral garment of green. The cherub lays at the maiden’s feet in attempts to reach for her hand. The figurine is a beautifully hand-painted with colours of green, blue, pink, red, violet and brown with accents of gold paint.

Marked: with blue underglaze crossed swords mark.  also marked Germany.

Measures: 12 inches in height.

Excellent condition: No chips, cracks or repairs.
