A large porcelain figurine depicting two little tree birds on a tree branch, it dates the 19th century by Meissen factory in Germany. It is beautifully hand-painted with colours of green, brown, yellow, blue and red. The piece is a joyful scene of two birds enjoying their grub while resting on a branch of a coniferous tree.
This is a delightful piece for those who adore birds, or collect fine porcelain figurines.
Marked: with Meissen crossed swords mark in underglaze blue.
Measures : 12 inches in height.
