Micro Mosaic Rome ‘Grand Tour’ Cross – Four Basilica Miniature Scenes – 12 inches

A beautifully made Cross With Four-Roman Basilicas scenes & florals inlaid in micro mosaics into a chrome / metal backed cross.  The basilicas are inlaid at each end of the cross with flowers decorating in-between from top to bottom and side to side. Also inlaid “Roma” above bottom basilica.  A Jesus figure in bronze centres the cross.    Most likely a souvenir of the ‘Grand Tour’ in Rome – very nice quality.  Dates circa 1900.

Measures:  12 inches tall x 7 inches wide (the ring for hanging makes the cross taller at 12.5 inches)
