GeneralAn exceptional 3-piece French gilt bronze garniture clock set of impressive scale and craftsmanship. The clock is richly cast in bronze, featuring elegant laurel swags across the front, classical Louis XVI-style pillars, and a flambeau urn finial crowning the top. The white enamel dial is delicately painted with colourful floral swags and bold black numerals, and is signed “à Armentières.”
The accompanying candelabras are grand and ornate, each with a heavy rouge marble base and body, adorned with finely detailed gilt bronze mounts. These striking pieces are not only decorative but of substantial weight and superb quality.
