A lovely Moorcroft vase with a subtle Flambe glaze in the Columbine pattern. The Flambe brings out colours that would not normally be seen with a regular glaze. Bright yellows, greens and reds throughout over a greenish background mixed with the red of the flambe.
Signed in Blue initials by Walter Moorcroft. Also impressed – Moorcroft, made in England.
Measures 10 3/4 inches high.
Excellent condition. Normal crazing in the glaze.
