A lovely Moorcroft Pottery fruit bowl with a hand- painted “Freesia”. It has a two-handled circular form on a pedestal base, painted on the interior with leaves and a single large flower in the centre with buds, It is in tones of red, purple, yellow, green and blue on a blue ground. The pattern was created by Walter Moorcroft and dates it in the 1950s.
Marked: Impressed factory mark, with Walter Moorcroft signature, it dates 1945-1949. Potter to HM The Queen.
Measures: 4 inches in height x 7 1/2 inches wide (2 inches from handles)
