Silver HollowareOutstanding pair of 18th Century English sterling candlesticks. This impressive pair of George III Candlesticks has a classic Corinthian style sconce (removable) on top of a fluted column. The tops of the columns are hollow and pierced. The candlesticks have shaped square bases engraved with a family crest and trimmed with a detailed hand chased design. The candlesticks have inset wooden bases for increased stability. Made in London, England in 1762 by Maker “F.C.” .
