Pair of 19th Century English Silver Plate Fish Servers with Lovely Hand Engraving and Original Case, Circa 1851

The silver-plated knife has a hand engraved oval “vignette fishing scene” with a surround of open pierced hand engraved scrolls. The 5 tine fork is similar in the open pierced hand engraved details. The handles are very nicely shaped with unique and beautiful repousse patterns. The diamond shaped silver plate mark dates to 1851 and is on the back of both the knife and fork handles. The original case, with royal blue velvet and pink satin lining, is in very good condition considering the age.
