Pair of Alabaster Lamps Circa 1910

Elegantly carved and polished pair of alabaster table lamps, circa 1910. The lamp bodies are in very good condition showing true craftsmanship of the organic carved details. Given the age the alabaster bases, they have some imperfections which do not take away from the whole effect and splendour of the alabaster. The shades are custom, parchment with a deep rich cadmium red intensity that contrasts the buff coloured alabaster. Completely rewired.

Measurements: Height lamp body with finial maximum 24 inches, square bases 4.25 inches

Shades: height 10 inches, bottom diameter 14 inches Note: one shade internal support wire is loose but doesn’t effect the balance
