Pair of Candle Holders by Walter Moorcroft – “Hibiscus” Pattern, circa 1940’s

A wonderful pair of Walter Moorcroft pottery candle holders, dated circa 1940’s, in the “hibiscus” pattern. The holders have a deep blue background with colourful flowers. On the underside of each candle holder, there is a paper label that reads “98. By Appointment W. Moorcroft, Potters to the Late Queen Mary”.  In addition, there are the imprinted “Made in England” and “Moorcroft”.

The candle holders measure 3 inches tall X 4 inches wide.

Both are in excellent condition.
