Pair of English Silver-Plated Fish Servers in Elaborate Engraved & Pierced Decorations, in the Original Box circa 1850

A beautiful pair of English silver-plated fish servers with very elaborate decoration on the blade, fork body and the handles.

The set is housed in its original black leather case with gold trim. The interior of the box is blue velvet and blue silk.

The pieces are both marked with English registry marks dating the set for 1850 with makers hallmarks – JR&S.

The fish slice measures 13 inches long; the fork is 10 inches long.

There is some slight age / usage wear to the exterior of the box and some very small wear from usage, especially on the slice. However, overall, this set is in great condition and would be a lovely addition to any table.
