Pair of French Gilded Bronze Empire Period Candle Stick Lamps with Doves and Roses Decoration

A refined set of gilded bronze Empire period candlestick lamps features embossed decorations on the base, including pairs of doves (often called “Lovebirds”), bows, ribbons, and stems adorned with roses and butterflies. Roses also embellish the upper rims of the candlesticks. The pair has been converted into lamps and are ideally sized for use as bedside or desk lamps.
