Pair of Geo III English Hallmarked 1812 – Sterling Silver Berry Spoons – Solomon Houghman, London maker.

A wonderful pair of Solomon & Houghman London England Hallmarked Geo III berry spoons, dated 1812.

The spoons have a gilt wash and are richly decorated in florals and swirl patterns. The underside of each spoon shows the full set of hallmarks.

Each spoon measures 8 3/4 inches long and is 1 3/4 inches wide across the bowl.

There has some wear-related gilt loss and scratching but, overall, the spoons are in very good condition for their age.
