Pair of Georgian Old Sheffield Plated Wine Coolers with Removable Liners – circa 1800

A rare pair of Old Sheffield English plated wine coolers with removable tops and liners.

Each has 2 decorative very detailed Lion face masks with hoop handles that are hinged, and decorative Queen Anne decoration on the lower half of the body.  The liners are removable to be able to add ice to the interiors and keep the wine or champagne cool.  There is shield with an early crest on the front of each.  The crest is of a fist & forearm rising from the ground holding a sword in it’s hand.

Each cooler measures  9 inches high x 9 inches wide.
