Pair of Japanese Bronze Vases with Birds & Branches in Relief. circa 1880

A handsome pair of Japanese bronze vases in a rich brown patina having birds and branches in relief on one side and perennial flowers in relief on the back side.  The rim of the vases has an engraved Greek key design.  The vases are thick bronze and are heavy for their size.

Measures:  9 1/2 inches tall x 7 1/4 inches wide.
