Pair of Spectacular Large Vienna Porcelain 19th Century Urns with 8 Hand painted Scenes – 27 inches High.
v** SOLD ARCHIVES **vA truly spectacular pair of 19th century Vienna urns with 8 hand painted vignettes – 2 large on front a back of each urn and 2 small cherub scenes on the back and front of each base. The large square bases support the bodies with a post that allow the bodies to spin 360 degrees so that the scenes can easily be seen on both sides. The scenes are front and centre over a cobalt blue background which is then highlighted with gold all throughout and dabs of white enamel.
Marked with a blue beehive mark under each base and each scene is titled.
Measures 27 inches high x 12 inches wide.
