Pair of Covered French ‘Chinese Famille Rose’ Porcelain Urns with Gilt Bronze Bases & Collars – Edmé Samson, Paris – 19th Century

An exquisite pair French porcelain covered vases in a Chinese Famille Rose pattern with stunning floral designs and a lovely large bird on each. Each urn has a very sturdy gilt bronze base that is fastened to the bottom as well as a gilt bronze collar at the neck.  The lids of the urns each have a foo dog finial on top.  Removing the bronze bases reveals an Edme´ Samson porcelain factory mark.

Both in Excellent condition.  Dates France, circa 1870.

Each Measures 22 inches tall and 9 inches wide.
