Here is a wonderful pair of silver-plated fish servers, circa 1880. Both the knife (slice) and fork are engraved with swirls and the knife blade has a fish engraved on it. The handles have lovely floral, leaf and dot patterns.

There are no markings visible on either piece.

The slice is 12 3/8 inches long and is 2 inches wide across the widest part of the blade.

The fork is 10 1/2 inches long and is 2 inches wide across the tines.

There is some usage wear but, overall, this set is in very good condition.

This is an stunning pair of fish servers with sterling silver handles, that fit very nicely in the hand. The wide knife blade is pierced and has an engraved scroll pattern enhanced by a figure standing seaside, the 4 tine fork is engraved too, they are silver plated. The sterling handles are shaped like a decorative ionic columns, famous for there scrolls, with a flower basket and floral swag detail.
