A stunning pair of Ormolu & alabaster small vases, it is a unique combination of gilt over metal and alabaster stone. The beautifully carved design in the bottom and holder is painted gilt gold. The design features a pattern of scroll, leaf and bead with a orientalist stylized depiction of a scaled fish figure on either side. Each centre holds a smooth round sphere of alabaster stone in a ivory colour, that is held together by the figures and bottom.

Measures: 9 1/2 inches in height

Excellent Condition: No repairs.( minimal surface scratches in the gilt gold, with small cracks in the centre stone- see images for more details on the condition)
