R. Lalique Opalescent Vase – “Rampillon” circa 1927

A stunning Art Deco René Lalique vase titled “Rampillon” – decorated with in a relief floral background with blue & white opalescent geometric patterns spaced evenly throughout the body of the vase.

Signed R. Lalique, France on the bottom – the vase was introduced in 1927 and discontinued in 1932.  Of course the opalescence makes this rarer as they stopped making opalescent pieces as it was a more difficult process and partly because the the poisonous nature of some of the ingredients used to make Opalescent glass.

Measures:  5 inches tall x 4.25 inches wide at the mouth.
