Rare Framed Pratt Ware Ceramic Pot Lid – “Captain Cuttle” (Charles Dickens Character)

A wonderful and rare Pratt ware ceramic pot lid, framed in ebony wood. The picture is of “Captain Cuttle”, a retired hook-handed sea captain character from Charles Dickens’ “Dombey & Son”.

The pot lid shows a paper label on the back of where it was framed in England. It has a ring on the top of the frame to hang the pot lid on the wall.

The pot lid with frame is 5 3/8 inches in diameter and is in very good condition.
