Royal Crown Derby England Bone China 40 Piece Set of Dishes – “Mikado” Pattern

A wonderful set of 40 pieces of Royal Crown Derby England bone china in the very well known Mikado pattern. The pattern shows a white background with Asian figures and scenes in cobalt blue. There is a gold trim around the rims of the plates, rims of the cups and saucers and handles of the cups.

Each piece has a slightly scalloped rim.

The set consists of:

8 dinner plates – each is 10 1/4 inches in diameter
8 salad / dessert plates – each is 8 1/4 inches in diameter
8 bread and butter plates – each is 6 1/4 inches in diameter
8 cups – each is 3 3/4 inches wide from the rim to the handle x 2 1/2 inches tall
8 saucers – each is 5 3/4 inches in diameter

Total number of pieces: 40

On the back of each piece is the Royal Crown Derby maker’s mark and “Royal Crown Derby. Made in England”. Some pieces show additional information, e.g. “Bone China”.

The set is in very good condition with bright colours and no chips, cracks, or repairs.
