Royal Dux- Boy on Donkey

A lovely Art Nouveau styled figurine depicting a folk tale of a boy on a donkey, by Royal Dux Bohemia, it dates 1900 – 1918. It features a fine design of porcelain figures attached to a platform, hand painted with washes of green, orange, purple and brown over a ivory based colour, with a unique yellow rope fabric attached to the reins of the donkey.

Perfect for those who adore story-telling, folk tales, or collecting porcelain figurines of sorts.

Measures: 11 inches tall.

Marked: Royal Dux Bohemia. Czech Republic. Mark used between 1900-1918.

Excellent condition. No chips, cracks or repairs.
