Royal Worcester Porcelain Hand-Painted Botanical 12 Piece Dessert Service – dated 1880.

Here is a fabulous hand-painted porcelain botanical dessert set, consisting of 1 pedestal comport, 3 low comports and 8 dessert plates. All are stamped on the underside with the Royal Worcester factory marks, the initial “B” for the artist Thomas Bott (circa 1880-1882) and the number 880.  The Registration mark dates it for 1880.

Each plate and each comport has a white background with a blue rim and gold patterns on both the front and back sides and each has been hand-painted with a different botanical arrangement. Please see the photos for details.

The pedestal comport is 5 inches tall and 9 1/4 inches in diameter. The low comports are also 9 1/4 inches in diameter and the plates are 9 inches across.

All pieces are in very good condition.
