Scottish Carved Oak Skeletal Aneroid Barometer with Eagle & Shields Decoration – Jas. White, Glasgow.

An oak Aneroid barometer featuring a finely carved eagle perched atop and a shield motif adorning the bottom. Elaborate hand-carved floral and scroll designs embellish the body. The upper portion boasts a temperature thermometer, while the lower section houses a barometer with a white face. Notably, the face bears the inscription “Jas. White, Optician, Glasgow.”  Patent #6538

The barometer is in good working condition.
