Set of Two Large French Christofle Spoons – “Spatour” pattern
This set of silverplated spoons consist of one serving spoon and one “grand” serving spoon often described as a serving ladle because of its wide rounded bowl. The Spatour pattern was in Christofle’s first catalogue published in 1862 and remains and elegant favourite to this day. Each spoon features graceful curves with a slender rounded ridge common to the decorative elements of the Louis XV style.
Marked: Christofle and France, each with a cartouche.
Each Measures: 9 3/4 inches long.
Condition: Excellent.
