Sevres France Hand Painted and Gilded Porcelain Footed, Oval Tazza with Bronze Ormolu Mounts, signed Bombois

A beautiful Sevres France hand-painted and gilded porcelain oval, footed tazza with bronze ormolu handles and mounts. The inside section of the tazza shows two figures reclining in a nature setting. It is signed “Bombois” on the lower right corner of the painting. Surrounding this painting are panels of floral sprays interspersed with gilded swags and flowers.

On the underside of the porcelain bowl in blue ink is the Sevres mark with a “s” in the centre and “France” beneath the maker’s mark. In addition, there is a stamped mark that reads “Chateau des Tuileries”.

The tazza measures 16 inches wide from handle to handle and stands 7 inches tall from the foot to the tip of the handles.

It is in very excellent condition.
