Shorter & Son England Pottery Jug, Decorated by Mabel Leigh
PotteryHere is a lovely, colourful pottery jug by Shorter & Son England. It is decorated with floral designs and bands of different colours by Mabel Leigh.
The underside of the jug reads “JAC A. Shorter & Son Stoke-On-Trent England” and has a “Y” above that.
The jug stands 9 inches tall and is 6 inches wide from the spout to the edge of the handle.
There are a few hairline marks on the base but they seem to be under the glaze. Overall the jug is in good condition.
