Spectacularly Ornate Gold Filigree Triangular Perfume Bottle with a “Dogwood” Motif, Mid Century

Stunning perfume bottle in a triangular shaped gold ormolu filigree, with a “floral dogwood” motif. The 3 sides are encrusted with textural “flowers ” that wrap around 3 pieces of circular, light cadmium coloured beveled glass. Spectacular repetition of the ormolu filigree design in the base. The large circular glass dauber framed in ormolu filigree shows the beautiful attention to detail associated with dogwood blossoms.  The whole effect is as if  holding a “magnifier” and wondering about the “magic” of design in this piece.
