Swiss Guilloché Enamel & Sterling Silver Card Case In Red / Burgundy.

A stunning swiss guilloché enamel and sterling card case, dates early 20th century.  It consists a rectangular-bodied shape, a rare guilloché engraving and enamel in a gorgeous burgundy colour, in a heavy sterling silver body with ornate border design, and yellow gold washed interior.  The case opens by moving the lid with your thumb forwards which releases the hinged lid to open fully.  Great for making sure the lid does not open by mistake.

Measures: 3 1/8 inches long  x  2 1/8 inches wide (1/4 inch thick).
