Tall Royal Doulton Stoneware Pottery Vase (Nouveau / Deco) / Arts & Crafts Pattern – c. 1922

This outstanding Royal Doulton stoneware vase is 12 inches tall and tapers in slightly at the base to come up to a short straight neck with a turned out rim.  This vase is decorated in mottled greens and browns around the body with three flowers and leaf pattern that represents the period when Art Nouveau was giving way to Art Deco. It has the initials MW who I believe to be Minnie Webb, this vase is a fine example of her work.

MEASURES: 12 inches high x 5 3/4 inches wide.

IMPRESSED MARK: Royal Dolton, England, 8314, MW – for Minnie Webb. The standard “Doulton” mark on Burslem Earthenware used circa 1922.
