Unframed Pratt Ware Pottery Pot Lid – ” French Street Scene”

A lovely unframed Pratt Ware pottery pot lid, called “French Street Scene”. It is a very interesting and popular lid showing a view of Strasburg with buildings, townspeople and soldiers.  This lid was produced by Mayer & Co. for Crosse and Blackwell to contain their “Strasburg Paste”.

The pot lid is 4 3/4 inches in diameter.

There are some chips on the underside of the lid but, overall, it is in very good condition.
