Unframed Pratt Ware Pottery Pot Lid – “Funeral of the Late Duke of Wellington”

A large Pratt Ware pottery pot lid, called “Funeral of the Late Duke of Wellington”. The pot lid shows the title at the foot and has an ornate border.

There are two holes in the bottom portion of the lid to allow the pot lid to be strung so it may be hung.

On the underside, there is a fragment of a paper label that reads “Funeral of the Duke of Wellington. Coloured prints from the original plates engraved for the Jesse Austin Process. 1845-1870. Reproduced Kirkhams Ltd. Stoke-On-Trent England”.

The pot lid is 5 inches in diameter and is 1 inch tall. It is in excellent condition.
