Victorian English Silver-Plated Soft Boiled Egg Server – 6 Egg Cups & Spoons

A lovely Victorian silver-plated soft boiled egg server – with 6 egg cups and 6 spoons. The stand handle has floral decoration and rests on 6 curved feet. Each egg cup has a bead pattern rim and base (to match the dotted rim of the stand) and sits on a protruding spike so the egg cups are more secure on the tray.

The spoons rest upright in a slotted section in the centre of the stand. Each spoon has the monogram “FH” on the end. The underside of the spoons shows the maker’s mark and reads “Mappin&Webb Mappin Plate”.

There are pseudo silver hallmarks just below the rim of each egg cup and on the top of the stand’s base (maker unknown)

All pieces are in wonderful condition.
