Victorian Mahogany Sewing Box with Brass Hardware – circa 1890

A nice quality mahogany sewing box with inset brass handle and inset brass key escutcheon.  The box opens and reveals a red silk padded material top and a removable tray with various spots for sewing related items.  The tray can be removed and the box can act as storage box for anything.  The interior is painted white but can be lined with a fabric to dress it up a bit.

Comes with original working key.

Dates circa 1890, England.
